downstream pressure independently of a higher pressure upstream.
As the upstream pressure increases to the set pressure, the valve
closes; it opens when the downstream pressure falls below the set
pressure. The SR 50 valves are sensitive and provide precise control,

Air Release (venting) Valve allow gases to escape from un pressurized pipe lines. As the un pressurized air vents, liquid rises to the float (an inverted cup), which lifts the float up against the seat, holding liquid pressure. The float will not release until the pressure on the inlet side of the valve is equal to the outlet pressure of the valve (normally atmospheric). |

The 1/2" gauge connection allows use of the popular 4" and 4-1/2" diameter gauges. Pressure switches or transmitters may also be installed. Customers can easily fill isolators and install their own gauges. |
